Who Are We?

We are a non-profit organization seeking to create a perceptually-real simulated reality via the use of immersive technology.  We run an annual summit to collaborate on cutting-edge immersive technology, its applications, and its implications.  We also connect technologists with business developers so that the technology can enter the mainstream market.

What is Immersive Technology?

“Immersive Tech” refers to simulated realities, virtual worlds, and interactive devices that combine to create an “Immersive” experience into technology.  Over the past several decades, technology has been developed as a tool to rapidly advance humankind.  The internet especially, holds an almost unlimited source of information.  However, our experience with technology is currently limited to a “two-dimensional” screen and button (keyboard/mouse) interface.

In the coming decades, we forsee an “immersion” into technology, whereby the barrier between real world and virtual/digital world is blurred.  As the barrier becomes more fluid, new applications will rise that allow humans to have greater productivity, creativity, and opportunity than ever before.

This is the world of Immersive Technology.
