Microsoft Unveils Kinect for Xbox 360 at E3!
Phil Spencer, Vice President of Microsoft Game Studios, has announced that the Kinect for Xbox 360 will be available in North America by this November 4th, in time for the holiday season. Xbox has some big plans for the new project. They plan to integrate Kinect with Zune to allow users to manage and stream music over Xbox Live via voice and gesture commands. In addition, Xbox plans to implement Video Kinect through Xbox Live to Windows Live Messenger. The idea is to enhance video chatting by making it more interactive.
Last night’s demonstration during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) made Kinect look amazing! This console has the potential of revolutionizing the gaming world as we know it. If Kinect for Xbox 360 proves to be as accurate and functional as it is advertised, then the idea of a “remote” may soon become a thing of the past.
