Or how about robot suits that uses this technology to make the world around you more exciting, like in sci-fi movies. Now we don’t need neon-signs and loud music, they can stream that to your personal suit, and you can turn it down if it annoys you etc.

Of course you’ll have to see and hear through your helmet for this to work and god knows what the government will do to our reality if it becomes the norm.

Within a year or 2 there’ll be AR ads in magazines. As cellphone tech improves we’ll see an app downloadable for many phones. You’ll be able to whip out your phone, point it at an ad & view a product from many angles. It’s gonna be fucking sweet! AR internet banners too.

This is a really cool way of having information projected in a real world.. I tell you..next year EVERYBODY is playing with a feature like this.. I wish i could make this on an Iphone.. as a designer i only can make prototypes and ideas..There are so many possibilities..(haha beside the cubes, of course

ahah..pls, you miss the point, this is just a start..you can already find a demo with an interactive dog for example,the awesome thing is that you can have 3D object, on a real enviroment

These cubes are just a random model, that can be replaced by whatever you want.. At least I hope so, otherwise it would be rather a waste indeed..

whats the point of the application?? all it is, is squares.. like whats so cool about having that? i think it would be a waste.

Ahah, but the Gizmondo could already do that like 1 year ago ! that’s not that impressive nor pretty damn good…
i got a gizmondo and i found out a website in which you could print a black and white card (your own one) and experience it : that was way better. (by the way, i hope there is nothing mean in what i’m saying, it’s just that i already know how this “augmented reality” works)
